Ginger – Underrated
It’s definitely underrated, and here is why.
In India, Ginger is known as the "universal medicine," and has long been used to help with all kinds of gastrointestinal issues.
In addition to that, it also has a nice flavor. You can add it to tea, various smoothies, baked goods, soups, and so on.
It is loaded with antioxidants, compounds that prevent stress and damage to your body's DNA. Ginger may help your body fight off chronic diseases like high blood pressure, heart disease, and diseases of the lungs. It is also famous for promoting healthy aging.
Sports Drink – Overrated
Sports drinks are automatically consider to be healthy, but it is usually not the case. These kind of drinks are loaded with carbohydrates which are sabotaging your weight loss if you use them.
Even though these colored drinks contain electrolytes which are lost through the sweat during the workout, they can be counter-productive for your overall health and fitness goals.
Walking – Underrated
Walking is not taken seriously enough. It is physical activity that most people don't even pay attention to, and therefore don't perform it in the right manner.
It is very effective and extremely beneficial for your health. You can actually reach many of your fitness and weight-loss goals by just walking. For some people, walking is better than running, especially for those with knee, ankle, or back problems. It is less a demanding physical activity, so it can be done over longer period of time without any problems.
Walking is also very good for your mental health. Just try taking a long walk through some beautiful landscapes and you will see what I am talking about.
