Red bell peppers - underrated
One red bell pepper serves up more than twice the vitamin C and almost a half of the vitamin A you need to take daily.
Eating this plant will:
- Improve your immune system
- Improve the health of your skin and eyes
- It is a very rich source of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
Wraps - overrated
It may sound and look like a better alternative for the whole grain bread, but in reality, that’s actually not the case. Sandwich wraps are usually packed with refined flours, hydrogenated oils and very little fiber.
But if you love eating wraps, search for the products with whole grains and with no trans fat.
Sardines – Underrated
If you’re looking for inexpensive, healthy food, canned sardines will do the job.
They are one of the least contaminated species of fish and that's why I favor them over salmon, which contains high levels of heavy metals and it's heavily farmed.
Sardines has many health benefits and are great source of proteins and omega-3
This is a very nutritionally rich food and you should consume it at least 2 times a week.
